As much as I love the Baroness herself, I really have to say my favorite part of this picture is Destro in the background.
Very rarely have I ever seen Cobra Commander's #2 done well, officially or by fans. The lines on the face really give him both some depth, some realism, and even help intensify the sheer malevolence of this highest end of Cobra's top brass. Destro comes off not as some shallow lackey, but as a force of true evil.
Shit man that is sweet, hey we are coloring the old Black and White UK comics of GI JOE from the early 80s and we are currently working on a story that is essentially THE BARONESS DECLASSIFIED if you have any time we would love to have your help on it,
Yeah....well, I still noticed girls. I remember one of the first things that I got in trouble for in preschool for was me running around the playground looking up the girl's skirts just to see their panties. I didn't care what was under them (in that sense I was dumb, now I know better) I just wanted to see their drawz!
In the case of the ladies of G.I. Joe, I was all about Scarlett, Jinx, and Cover Girl. I didn't pay Baroness, Zarana, or Lady Jaye much attention.
I'm gonna teach my kids early (when I have them) to not want candy so much, to notice all girls thoroughly (for my son/s only), and to start planning for retirement at age 5!
I was a big Scarlett fan....I think she laid the foundation of my love of red heads. But Jinx was a hottie and a badass! (Asian gals are cool!)
The cartoon made Baroness look kinda old....I think that's why I didn't pay attention to her. Thank God for fan art and creative control! I hear that the gal that's gonna play her in the live action movie is smokin' hot!
Cobra Commander? Nah, i always hated him. You know who would be cool to do? That cloaked evil woman with the topknot and the biological suit from Cobra-La in the GI Joe movie.... i can't remember her name....
