Top Ten Most Vile Villains IV

Description

Xur was a great villain because he was just.... such... an unlikeable dick.  Completely douchey with a punchable butt face.  Remember how he has the old man's brain melted, and he grins like a child burning ants with a magnifying glass?  Hateful.

Li'l Slugger is one of the eeriest villains in all of anime.  Satoshi Kon, you are missed intensely.

The Hangover movies kinda suck, but i did like how the third one was all about Leslie Chow and Gangster John Goodman, while the four leads scrambled around in their wake.  It was better than way.  Leslie Chow is great.  I liked how he raised his fighting chickens on a diet of cocaine... and chicken.

Brick Top is just one of the many reasons why you should see Snatch if you haven't already seen it.  Brad Pitt as an unintelligible gypsy boxer is also a highlight.  Also?  Jason Statham is in it, but he doesn't fight anyone at any time, which is just weird to see nowadays.

I'm not even a fan of the first two Toy Story movies -- blasphemy, i know -- but i'm really blown away at how moving the end of the third one is... and how evil that damned bear is.  He stands above the rim of Hell and smiles as the innocents are drawn into its flaming maw.  That's some evil shit.

I have a few gripes with Syndrome.  I wish we could have seen him not in his goofy suit at least once, and i hated how his 20-year master plan was foiled by him not being ABSOUTELY SURE that he could defeat his own killer robot -- but the essence of the character was great.  "Show me!" is the best line in the movie.

I've only seen Inglorious Basterds once, and need to see it again.  Hans Landa... a great, great villain.

You younger kids might not recognize Baron Harkonnen, but if you're curious... here's what you do.  Go to Youtube.  Search for "Baron Harkonnen."  Watch the first clip that comes up.  And prepare to be more grossed out than you have ever been in your entire life.  My drunken dad forced me to tag along to that movie when i was six years old, and it messed me up bad.  To this day, i can't trust pustulent ginger fat men in hover-suits.  And i'm a bit wary of Sting.

Barry Nyle.  This guy just creeps me out.  He's not right in the head.  There's nothing worse than a psychiatrist who needs therapy.

Interesting that David Lynch chose to make the Baron as repulsive on the outside as he was on the inside.
