Correction!  I wrote this morning that Acorntops was writing a story about Slug Mutant April O'Neil based on my old drawings....
TMNT - The Last Mutation of April O'Neil Chapter 1CHAPTER ONE
April O’Neil plops down on the second-hand couch in the sewer lair of the Ninja Turtles. She’s completely exhausted from the adventure and takes a deep breath, blowing the stray strands of auburn hair out of her face. Her hands rest at her side when she notices her she is touching something something cold and wet- not a good thing when your friends live in New York City’s sewer system. April lifts up her hand and see a cold slice of pizza sitting next to her.
“Whoa! Guys! April found it! My anchovies and marshmallow slice!” Says Michelangelo as he scoops it up, and jumps over the back of the couch to sit next to April.
“This is cooler than the time you got my skateboard back from that security guard!” he adds digging into the newly discovered silce.
“Glad I could help, Mikey.” She says while rolling her eyes. Slightly annoyed about getting pizza grease on her hand, April stands up to clean it off. When she leaves the cou
....but i was mistaken.  The Slug story is still in the future.  The current one is different.  But at any rate, you should still check it out and follow Acorntops.  He's a good writer.

Oof, i woke up early tonight from an unsettling dream.  I saw that it was 6:30PM, and thought, "hey!  Instead of just laying here and trying to go back to sleep, why don't you go see POWER RANGERS at 7:30? Cross it off the list, right?"

I had just enough time.  I leapt out of bed, walked and fed the dogs, took a shower, chugged a cup of Folger's Instant, and raced to my car... through the pouring rain and an intense lightningstorm!  I was soaked but there was thrilling music playing on the radio and i was all like, "2017, baby!  Wooo!!!"

...but when i got to the theater, i learned...  i must have misread Fandango.  There was no 7:30PM showing tonight.  The next one was too late, because i still have to go to work.

Curses!  This movie is my new white whale.  It eludes me.  Whether it's a good movie or not, i crave it, for it seems unattainable.  One day i shall see it.  It is not the destination, it is the journey.  

Onwards.
