Sea Witch Ariel

When Flounder managed to snatch Ursula's magic shell necklace away from the bloated villain and deliver it to Ariel, he had no idea of the mistake he'd made.  While it gave Ariel command of magic enough to vanquish Ursula, it passed on an unknown curse.  Within minutes, the little mermaid's body began to change, her fins becoming tentacles and her flaming red hair turning stark white...

...the effects of the magic ensnared Flounder and Sebastian as well, and they were now more henchman than friend.  Ariel felt the tremendous power at her fingertips, and her thoughts were focused on Prince Erik, her true love.

"Join him on land?" she mused, "oh, no, he will join ME here, under the Sea, whether he wants to or not.  I will make it happen..."

The reign of Sea Witch Ariel had begun.

..

Beast Belle

Belle had no idea how powerful the magic Rose was.  If she had, she might never have made a wish while standing so close to it.

"I wish we could be together somehow," she silently wished, "I wish we were the same!"

The witch's magic, a force with a mind of its own, decided to grant this request.

"Lumiere, Cogsworth, i can't let him see me like this!"

Belle fled into the snow, and was surprised at the strength and vitality of her beastly new body.  Maybe this wasn't a bad thing after all?

..

Cobra Jasmine

Jafar lashed out at Aladdin, but he was just a second too late; the hourglass was shattered, freeing the captive Jasmine.  As Aladdin resumed his battle with the gigantic serpentine Jafar, Jasmine snatched the Lamp from its pedastal.  Sensing he had a new master, Genie cried "Quick!  Make a wish, Jas!  Snake soup, perhaps?"

Jafar turned, hissed, and reared back for a strike.

"I... I wish I had Jafar's power!" Jasmine blurted out.

With one snap of Genie's fingers, Jafar instantly shrank back to his spindly human self... he watched his newfound sorcery stream through the air and enter the bewildered Princess's body -- a bit was lost, but there was enough to instantly transform Jasmine nearly into the same snakelike being.

"Foolish girl... you have no idea how to use that power!  Give me the lamp!" Jafar roared, scrambling desperately towards her.

Jasmine made her second wish -- "I wish Jafar was imprisoned in the Palace's deepest dungeon!"  And with a wink, the villain was gone.

Aladdin, Abu, and even Iago stared dumbly as the snakey princess slithered towards them.  "What happened, Genie?  Am I stuck like this?"

"Err... not exaclty," the Genie chuckled, "remember, Jafar was, for a minute there, the most powerful sorcerer in the world... I guess that makes you the most power sorcer-essss?" he said with a comical hiss.

"But I don't know anything about sorcery!"

"Well, you might need a crash course, I suppose" the Genie continued, "but once you learn the basics, you should be able to shed that snakeskin in a jiffy."

"But how?"

"I hate to say this, but... you have a potential professor of sorcery currently locked up in the deepest dungeon.  Perhaps he could be persuaded to give you a hand?"

Jasmine and Aladdin cringed, but there didn't seem to be any other option.

"Don't worry, Jasmine," Aladdin reassured her, "we'll get you back to normal, no matter how long it takes..."

Jasmine smiled sadly, still gazing at her new reptilian claws.  The most powerful sorceress in the world, she thought with a smile.  That might not be so bad...

On the way out, Genie whispered in Aladdin's ear, "to tell you the truth, Al, this won't be the first time she gets turned into a snake...."

"Wait, what?"

"Eye of the Beholder, episode 67... it's a ways away, but we'll be there before you know it..."

..

Caterpillar Alice

Alice knew she should not have accepted a tiny puff from the Caterpillar's hookah, but she thought it would have been rude to turn it down. The powerful smoke turned her head at once, and she fell to her knees, dizzy and flushed.

"I'll ask you again," the Caterpillar lazily drawled, "Who.... are... you?"

"I'm... I'm.... I'm not exactly sure?" Alice mumbled as she pondered the question, "I used to be called A... something. Now that you mention it, I don't know who I am!"

"Well, you look like a caterpillar, if you want to know," her host stated.

The Caterpillar Girl looked down at her body, which was still growing longer and segmented with every passing minute.

"A caterpillar? Why, I suppose I am at that," she murmured in wonder.

Wonderland had just gained a new permanent resident.

..

Glass Cinderella

Tragically, Cinderella's happiness was short-lived... what she could have never imagined was that her Wicked Stepmother ALSO had a Fairy Godmother....

...a very bad Fairy Godmother, at that.

"I want that little thief to pay for what she did to my daughters," Lady Tremaine begged her Fairy Godmother, "and I want everyone in the Kingdom to know of her folly, forever!"
The Bad Fairy Godmother smiled evilly, and assured Lady Tremaine that she had the perfect revenge...

...the next time Cinderella dared to wear the Glass Slipper, she could feel her body growing stiff and slow. Confused, she looked at her arms, which were already turning to clear glass. "Oh, how pretty!" was her final thought before the transformation was complete.

The Prince was heartbroken, but no remedy could be found. His lost love was preserved in a place of high honor, in hopes that someone could break the spell.

Many generations later, the "Glass Princess," as she was called, as her name had been lost to time, was moved into the castle gardens. By then, almost no one still believed the old legend that she was once a real girl.

Even so, the Glass Princess seemed to glow with an inner light... was Cinderella's mind still alive inside her perfect glass body, watching the ages of the world go by?

..

Dragon Aurora

Prince Phillip had won; Maleficent lay dying, her dragon's blood rapidly leaving her body.  With the last of her strength, she began to create a final curse to fling at Princess Aurora... but as she did so, she could hear the voices of the Good Fairies in her mind...

"You cannot do that, Maleficent!" Flora chided.

"You have suffered no ill here, none that you did not deserve..." Fauna added,"

"...and any curse of yours will therefore fail!" Merryweather finished.

Maleficent realized that the annoying do-gooders were right -- there were rules about this sort of thing, after all.

"If I cannot curse her... I will give her a gift instead!" Maleficent croaked through her last breath.

As her body withered and burned, an eldritch green aura rose from it and surrounded Aurora, who was just waking from her long sleep.  Prince Phillip drew back, aghast.  He heard a dire voice whisper, "Princess, I give you my power... all my magic, all my strength, I give unto you!"

Aurora awoke, not as the woman she'd been, but as a newborn Fairy, her body surging with Maleficent's magic.

"Oh!  I feel... what is this I feel?" she asked, "It feels wonderful!"

Prince Phillip looked on with growing horror.  This wasn't going to end happily ever after, was it?

Disney Transformations II

Willow Pocahontas

Ever since John Smith returned to England, Pocahontas pined for him.  As the next Autumn fell and the leaves began to fall, she felt his loss deep in her heart.  Often, she would slip away from her family and spend long hours with Grandmother Willow, listening to her ancient songs and stories...

"Grandmother, do you think he will ever come back?" she asked one evening.

"Oh, I think not, child," Grandmother Willow replied with uncharacteristic curtness, "all in all, it's better that he not return..."

"Grandmother, how can you say that?" Pocahontas exclaimed.

"Because, child... it is simply not your destiny to marry, raise children, and die like the rest of the People.  You have a much higher, but lonelier destiny, one that was determined even before you were born..."

Pocahontas felt strange; she felt stiff, in fact, which was unusual.  The wind began to blow harder and the leaves circled the willow grove.  A chill fell over her as she continued to listen to the Willow Tree's hypnotic voice.

"...for you see, dear child, I am almost at the end of my time.  For nearly a thousand years, I have been the guardian spirit of the People.  But nothing lasts forever, and it is not time for someone else to have that honor, and that burden.  It is time... for you, Pocahontas..."

"Grandmother, what are you saying?  And what..."

She broke off, as her skin began to change.  It turned hard and dry and deep green...

She cried in alarm and tried to run, but her feet were already starting to take root in the stony soil.

"Grandmother, please!  I don't want..."

"Child, it is not a matter of wanting, it is simply the way things are.   Do you imagine that I "wanted" it?  I was once like you, of course.  I was once a young creature, eager to roam the forest forever.  But I, like you, was chosen.  It will be strange at first, and you will long for your freedom... but as the new Willow Spirit, you will eventually find a freedom you can scarcely imagine now..."

"Grandmother..."

"...your spirit will live on, and on, and you will watch over many, many generations of the People.  Your soul will delve deep into the earth, and you will learn from the rivers, and know the name of every bird and beast in the land.  Although you will never move again, your spirit shall become one with all, just as mine has.  The People must have a guardian, and that guardian will be you..."

Soon, it was done.  The young willow sapling stood next to the ancient willow tree.  The tree that was once Pocahontas was still silent, still learning how to be a tree.  In time, she would reawaken.

Sighing with contentment, Grandmother Willow's face faded, never to be seen on Earth again.  At last, she could rest.

Gargoyle Esmeralda

If the great writer Victor Hugo was to be believed, the Cathedral of Notre Dame possessed a soul of its own; and so it was.

The gypsy Esmeralda had found sanctuary within the stone walls, but Frollo's men were able to break the defenses regardless... with nothing standing between her and the hangman's gibbet, Esmeralda whispered a silent prayer...

...and promptly vanished from the sight of her pursuers.

She was never found, and the wicked Frollo eventually killed himself from his own twisted grief and longing by throwing himself from the top of Notre Dame.  But unbeknownst to him, the spirit of the gypsy had found a new home within one of the gargoyles of the cathedral.  For months she slept in stony silence, before being awoken by the others of her kind.

What to do now, with a life eternal and a magical body of invincible stone?  The newest gargoyle and her friends eventually found a way to leave the church itself, and wander the streets of Paris at night, usually finding ways to defend the innocents from harm

The legend of the Noble Gargoyles became so well known over the centuries that, in time, a story team from the Disney Animation Studios decided it would make a good inspiration for a cartoon show -- called "Gargoyles" -- that bore little resemblance to the true events.  With Esmeralda still living a life of secrecy, they instead created a protagonist named "Goliath" to take her place.

It's all connected.   ^__^
...

Hydra Megara

As any student of Greek mythology could tell you, Hercules and Megara did NOT end up living happily-ever-after.   Once Hercules ascended to the eternal splendor of Mount Olympus, he forgot about his earthly ties and was married to Hera's daughter -- Hebe, the Goddess of Youth.
Megara was betrayed... again.

Megara was lost in the underworld... again.

"My, my, my," Hades jeered at her inevitable return, "once bitten, twice bitten... at some point, aren't you supposed to get shy?" he cackled, referencing a mediocre rock'n'roll song that was still many centuries away from being written.

Megara shrieked with rage, and even the god Hades was taken aback at the supernatural fury that was pouring from her naked soul.  He stood agape as she fled down into the depths of Tartarus, down into the blackest depths where even he would rarely tread...

There, in the darkness, Megara's tortured soul wept and raged in torment.  She had been stupid, so stupid to expect HIM to be different.

In time, other souls were drawn to her, the souls of other women who had died in similar straits.  One by one, they were absorbed into her darkness, becoming one with her...

...stronger, and stronger, fed on the energy of a thousand bitter souls, Megara grew ever stronger.  At last she felt the approach of something different, something primitive and animalistic.  It was the soul of the Hydra, the monstrous many-headed serpent that had been slain by her former beloved.
It, too, was drawn into her soul.
..
The gates of Mount Olympus shook with rage, and the gods assembled to face this newest threat.  Hercules held his new wife close, and stared in surprise as the endless nest of immortal reptilian dread intruded into their heavenly realm.

"Hello, loverboy!" the infinite Hydra-Megara laughed, "remember ME?"

...

Fire Dragon Mulan

Despite her incredible bravery -- or foolishness, some would say -- Fa  Mu Lan lay dying on the snowy battlefield, a Hun's arrow protruding from her side.

"I wish I could have... seen Father... one last time..." she gasped to Mushu, as her life slowly drained away.

The little dragon was soon sobbing uncontrollably over the body of his friend.  But then he remembered something, something ancient.

What was that the ancestor's called it?   The Fire Dragon soul merge?

....in the end, there was no need to bury the Hun army with an avalanche of snow.  For they all died at the end of her sword.

Soon, all of China would know the name of Fa Mu-Long, the Dragon Goddess!

...

Crystal Guardian Kida

...with that funny little man dead, there was little to hold back Kida's rage at the interlopers.  Rourke... Helga... the rest of the mercenaries... they were on the verge of escaping Atlantis with the precious crystal heart in their possession...

....unfortunately for them, Atlantis had one final defense system in place of such an event.
When it was over and the invaders had been shattered, Kida heard a voice in her head.

"Now, my child, I will release you from my power."

"Wait!" Kida whispered from inside her immortal crystal body, "stay with me.  I... I like this."

...

Leopard Jane

Neither Tarzan nor his tribe could ever understand why the Leopard Sabor was so endlessly vicious and determined to hunt down anything she could find.  They never could have guessed that Sabor was not a leopard at all, but a vengeful animal spirit that possessed unfortunate women, transforming them into a echo of some ancient feline god...

...with Sabor dead, the Leopard Spirit found a new host in Jane Porter.  She awoke one night, feeling warm all over, and was shocked to find a thing layer of yellow fur covering her arms.  She opened her mouth, but before she could speak, she was taken aback at the feel of... fangs?  Her tongue ran over what were unquestionably fangs.

Beyond that, she was feeling friskier than she ever had in her life.  Where was Tarzan, anyway?  Jane felt a hunger for him that was... well, savage and fierce, to say the least.
Hey!

I recently had a customer ask for backups of the little short blurbs that i included with my Disney Transformations sets... and i was horrified that i couldn't find the file, and had to go look them up on Patreon (which is really inconvenient.)  So i thought, why not just post them here for safekeeping?  I trust that none of my Patrons and Gumroad customers will mind me sharing them.
