....so this is Twitter's meme of the week, in which you list the four movies that "define" you, i.e. they actually resemble your personality, not just your favorite movies (which is why Wonder Woman and The Last Jedi aren't on this list.)

The Karate Kid -- Because i grew up as a poor lame kid raised by a single mother, and i got bullied sometimes but my bullies only made me STRONGER.

Velvet Goldmine -- Because like Christian Bale's Arthur, i have a pretty boring life, and i look back in wonder/embarrassment/longing at those few years when i tried to be sexy and hip.  I also tend to idol-worship and view my idols as larger than life, even if they're not.

American Beauty -- Because i develop insane crushes on people i can never have.  But i'm still a good guy at heart.  And the older i get, the less i care about stuff and the more i care about... like, living man.  LIVING.

Paprika -- Because it's one of my favorite movies and also i'm fat.  Not as fat as Dr. Tokita, but still.
